Our working environment

At geo we’re all forward-thinking tech experts, working together to create integrated energy solutions. Everything we design puts the needs of our customers first and we are meticulous in our attention to detail. We work hard to anticipate global trends and continue to win business as a result of our hard work, enthusiasm and industry expertise.

We offer a range of training and development initiatives. Training and development is tailored to you and your role through a consultative process between you and your line manager, supported by our HR team.

We work hard to create a comfortable and supportive workplace that promotes diversity, embraces inclusion and cultivates respect for all individuals. We believe that bringing together bright, enthusiastic and talented people from varying backgrounds promotes the creation of new ideas across the business.

Our recruitment process

Your first interview will usually be an informal, relaxed session and will involve discussion around your CV and covering letter. You may be asked to do some work-based tests and also a brief psychometric analysis.  At the second interview you will meet more members of the team. You will have plenty of time to ask us questions and we’ll be happy to give you a tour of our lovely offices.

Once we’ve received your application the hiring managers have a read through what you’ve sent. If we think you’re suitable for the role we’ll get in touch and tell you about the next steps.

Recruitment agencies

We prefer to hire people directly, but we do have a preferred suppliers list (PSL) and preferential rates in place for when we need some help. Please respect that we do not accept unsolicited calls, CVs or applications from recruiters or agencies not already on our PSL. Please note that any submission of unsolicited CVs and applications in advance of an agreement between geo and the recruiter does not create any implied obligation on the part of geo.
