The Hybrid Home is a winner at the Home of 2030 Innovation Awards
Presented in London by Rt Hon Christopher Pincher, Minister for Housing, the joint BRE and RIBA awards, mark the launch of this ground-breaking competition which is backed by cross government departments; BEIS, MHCLG and DHSC.
With the pressing climate emergency as a backdrop, the Home of 2030 competition is seeking submissions from consortia that can deliver sustainable homes for 2030. Submissions will be judged based on criteria under four categories:
- Inclusive Living
- Low environmental impact and building performance
- Healthy Living
- Deliverability and scalability
Six shortlisted schemes will move forward to the next stage, with the winning finalist going to build out phase with the support of Homes England.
The Hybrid HomeTM impressed with its promise of helping households to manage their energy costs and carbon footprint, without having to think about it.
