Rik leads geo’s product management and user experience functions, with responsibility for the product strategy and roadmap including the prioritisation of product features and user interface design. Rik also acts as the company’s Data Protection Officer and a geo representative in various industry associations (BEAMA, ADE and SmartEn) and the Connectivity Standards Alliance, which manages the Zigbee and Matter protocol standards. Prior to geo, he held various senior product management and marketing roles at blue-chip technology companies including TomTom, Microsoft and Cosworth in the UK, Europe and the US.
