Want to make the most of Cosy?
This is where the Cosy temperature setting comes in, it is not for all the time, just for those times where you really need to feel, well, Cosy!
Most of the time while you’re at home you’ll keep your Cosy on the Comfy setting. Then there is Slumber – perfect for those nights when you want the house to be cooler, but not too cold. So Cosy ‘s Slumber will prevent it from dropping below a certain temperature.
If you are like me, your days will all be different, Cosy works on daily profiles. So if you go to the gym on Mondays, and for drinks after work on Fridays, you can have your heating set up and ready so there is no wastage while you’re not at home. If your plans change, you simply log on to the app (which is available on Android, iOS, and online) and let Cosy know about the change on the Now screen. That way, when you do return home from a long session at the gym or after an ad-hoc evening meal, your house will not just be warm, it will truely be Cosy.
If you’re going away for a few days, you can simply put Cosy into hibernate. This keeps the heating off, but has built in pipe-protection so you’ll never come back from holiday to find a plumbing disaster waiting for you.
If you’re getting back late at night and don’t want to be fumbling around for a light switch in the dark, you can even link your smart plug to your Cosy app. Once the smart plug is linked to the Cosy app, you can activate the ‘Welcome Home’ feature and your lamp will come on with your heating, so you have a warm, and light welcome home.

we have a normal gas central heating combi boiler
does it work with it

Hi James. Cosy works with most standard heating systems so it sounds like yours should be compatible too. The only limitation is that with a combi boiler you won’t be able to control your hot water separately from your heating (either via the Cosy app or display) – this function only works where a home has a separate hot water tank. Hope that helps? If you have any more questions, our friendly support team (email: cservices@geotogether.com) will be happy to help. Michelle 🙂
