Big Energy Savings week
Earlier this week, Blue Monday marked the start of Big Energy Savings Week, a national campaign funded by the UK, Scottish and Welsh Governments, it runs from 20th – 24th January 2020.
The idea stems from January being a traditionally a hard month for consumers, with high energy bills during the winter months looming and a long time between pay-days over Christmas. Consumers, in particular those who are considered fuel poor, are forced to choose whether they can afford to heat their home.
The Big Energy Savings Week campaign focusses on how consumers can act to reduce their bill both short-term and long-term, so we thought it would be timely to talk about how in-home displays can help your customers take control and potentially make savings.
In-home displays help consumers take control of their energy usage by making the invisible, visible. The handy speedometer on our Trio range of products visibly shows consumers their level of energy consumption in real-time.
For those customers on pre-pay, In-home displays also provide greater control over budgeting, increase awareness of remaining credit and make it more convenient to top-up pre-paid meters.
Completing our range of IHD, the new Accessible in-home display helps blind and partially sighted customers. With large tactile buttons and push-to-speak functionality, blind and partially sighted customers can also benefit from being able to monitor their energy usage with the Accessible in-home display and potentially save both energy and money.
Use your power to make a difference to your customers.
