Getting your Cosy installed before winter means you can start monitoring your energy use and make sure you’re not racking up a big ol’ heating bill – phew. One of the ways Cosy helps you do this (thanks to its handy schedules function) is by stopping you from having to heat your home when you’re not there. For more bill-reducing tips, take a look at this blog post on how Cosy can help you be more energy efficient in your home.
Did you know that, if you buy your Cosy through our web store, installation comes included as standard? All you need do is pop a Cosy (choose from single zone or twin zone heating – either with or without hot water control) in your virtual basket and select an installation date that works for you at the check-out. By ordering early you’ll be able to start coming home to Cosy even sooner – plus you’ll have more choice on installation dates too. Find out more Cosy installation info here.
…with time to spare before Jack Frost arrives! The good news is, your Cosy Display and app are very quick and easy to set up. What might take you more time though is deciding which temperature to choose for each of your three heating modes (hmm, would I prefer 21ºC or 20.5ºC for Cosy mode?) and setting up your heating schedules to suit your lifestyle. But sorting them out now will give you time to tweak them before winter.
No one likes coming home to a cold, dark house, right? Well, thanks to Cosy’s Welcome Home feature you won’t have to ever again – even as the winter nights draw in. Simply get yourself a Smart Plug (or two, or three – you can connect up to five of your home appliances) and plug each one into the socket of the device you want to control. That way you can make it so that your Smart Plug-controlled appliances (from your lamps to your slow cooker) turn on when your heating does. You’re welcome!
If you’d like to find out more about our Cosy smart thermostat and how it works as part of your home heating set-up – our friendly support team are on hand to help. Get in touch by emailing them or popping your details into this Cosy support form. Otherwise, feel free to leave your questions in the comments box below and we’ll be in touch!
